An impressive vegetable with a distinctive appearance and great taste, Tekoa Farms are the first to grow organic asparagus in Israel, developing our own unique method, with thanks to Tekoa’s mild climate. Our fresh bright green bouquets of pesticide-free asparagus are picked and sold in season (spring and fall). Rich in folic acid, vitamins A, B1 and E, asparagus should be gently boiled or steamed until slightly soft and served with a sprinkle of olive oil and lemon juice.
